A Voters’ Guide to the Minnesota Democratic Senate Primary

Ron Harris Political strategist in Minneapolis

In Minnesota, any sort of coordination with the occupant in the White House would not be seen as something preferable after Metro Surge. So when I look at Flanagan, for example, she’s supported by Tina Smith, Chris Van Hollen, Elizabeth Warren, Sanders, et c., and they’re more combative. And so when those are the folks that helped get you in, that might be the style you pick up on, right? If Craig makes it through, you look at the people that have supported her. And, again, are they as combative? Are they more collaborative? I think that voters here are going to have a pretty low tolerance for collaborating with the administration.
