Defender Maya Le Tissier and midfielder Ella Toone have both received equal votes from their team-mates and therefore couldn’t be separated when it came to a winner.
Maya and Ella are therefore set to share the accolade following superb individual campaigns for Marc Skinner’s side, in which they helped the Reds lift the Adobe Women’s FA Cup for the first time, last weekend.
With just one game remaining, the United duo will be presented as winners of the prize at Old Trafford this afternoon, ahead of our WSL game against Chelsea.
