“The Real Housewives of Atlanta ”Airs Kenya Moore’s Explicit Photo Scandal That Spurred Her Suspension

The incident that led to Kenya Moore’s Real Housewives of Atlanta exit is finally playing out on screen.

During the April 6 episode of the Bravo show, Brittany Eady showed up to Kenya’s hair spa opening party with flowers and a card as a peace offering after she threatened Kenya with a “pistol” earlier this season. When Kenya ignored the gesture and began to gather people for a speech, Brit left.

“This has been a labor of love for me,” Kenya said in her speech. “I have built this salon for my daughter, and I’m really proud of where I am, and I get people trying to bring me down for no reason, and I’m really sick of it.”

Kenya then specifically named Brit as someone who “came for me” because she was “looking for a moment.”

“This person, who just came here with these fake flowers, somebody take these and just get it on out of here,” Kenya said. “It’s fake, and I don’t want fake women around.”

Outside, Brit explained that she “just wanted to apologize” while Kerri Ferrell comforted her and said that Kenya’s reaction “was rude.”

“I extended my olive branch, and if she wants to ignore it, that’s fine,” Brit explained. “But I hope she reads my card. It was very thoughtful. Hopefully she’ll read it.”

Kenya, however, insisted the card be thrown out with the flowers: “Burn that s—.”

“Then it escalated,” Kenya told her guests. “Because I was paying her dust. Because I am that bitch, been that bitch, still that bitch. I’m gonna pay you dust.”

“Then she talked about having a gun, that she keeps it on her at all times, she did,” she continued. “So this woman was saying all this stuff, like, ‘You don’t know who the f— I am.’ I’m like, ‘No, I don’t know who you are.’ So I did a little research, and I found out who this bitch is.”

In a shocking move, Kenya pulled out a stack of giant cardboard posters displaying photos of Brit, pointing out “the nose jobs, the lips, the fillers.”

“I’m not doing this — she needs to pipe down,” Kelli whispered to Porsha Williams, who said in her confessional that Kenya was “crazy” and wondered, “Where is this going?”

Kenya went on to show “more evidence” that her “private investigators” found.

“She used to be a video h–,” Kenya said of Brit. “She was a trap h–, video h–. I’ve been in some videos, but I was a leading lady. I was making stacks for an appearance.”

Several people began to walk out of the event, including Kelli, who realized Brit was still outside. That didn’t stop Kenya, though. The next poster showed explicit images of Brit engaging in oral sex.

“That’s some nasty work,” Kenya shouted.

“I could not believe my eyes,” Shamea Morton said, telling Kenya, “That’s too far.”

“No, it ain’t too far, bitch,” Kenya replied. “She threatened me with a gun. Don’t tell me it’s too far.”

Porsha, who has a long history of her own with Kenya, then left. “I did not want to stand there and seem like I was in agreement of anything,” she explained. “I don’t support this.”

Shamea echoed that sentiment, saying: “I know it’s tit for tat sometimes in this group. I know, you go low, I go lower. But this? This is too much.”

Angela Oakley, admitting she was the one who encouraged Brit to come “show some support” to Kenya, said she was “flabbergasted” by the way things turned out.

“What Kenya did was was very distasteful, it was uncalled for and it was hurtful,” she added. “I sympathize with Brit. I empathize with her because I can only imagine the pain that it may cause anyone who’s exposed that way.”

Before heading out, Cynthia Bailey expressed her disappointment in Kenya’s actions.

“I wasn’t there. I didn’t see what happened. I’m getting to know Brit, but I know you,” she said. “I really hate that you let that in this way. I think you’re bigger than this and I think you’re better.”

In June, PEOPLE confirmed that Kenya wouldn’t be returning to RHOA, and she later addressed the incident during a Nov. 14 appearance on Tamron Hall.

“Hindsight is always fifty, fifty,” she began. “If I could do it all over again, I believe the photos were very distasteful, and I elevated the situation. I’ve elevated situations before, and I’ve taken full accountability for the things that I’ve done.”

Noting how “sorry” she was for what she’d done, Kenya acknowledged that “I didn’t have to take it that far.”

“But when I felt threatened, I’ve never had a child in a situation like this before,” she continued. “So, that’s why it escalated to the point where I was protecting not only myself, but my child.”
