Taylor Swift and her team seem to have just dropped a nostalgia bombshell-sudden and swifties losing it. Taylor Nation, the fan account, posted a throwback of the little Taylor with her own Robin off of The Tortured Poets Department. That sent users into some frenzy online.

A post like that just fire-started the arguments over the underappreciated track some said was “criminally overhated,” while others flat-out said, “worst song on TTPD.”
It’s captioned, “Way to go, tiger,” showing a young Swift that looks like early career footage, only making that sad tune twice as sweet.
But the timing isn’t random-some are now theorizing as Robin is blowing up on TikTok-that this could indeed be a clever little push for streams.
“About time they’re promoting the song then so we can finally get to 100M streams,” quipped one fan while another joked, “Milking TTPD era 😭😭😭.” Divided reactions, however, are literally down the middle.
“Criminally overhated song”, read one defender while a critic retorted, “Worst song on TTPD”.
The split grew even bigger, thanks to TikTok trends inducing opinions as one fan was furious, “The Robin trend needs to end because everyone doing it was slandering my baby when it was released… just for them to switch up.”
Some even considered the throwback a sign towards Debut (Taylor’s Version) and wildly speculated in the replies: “Debut TV 🫣.” Others were just brought down with all that vintage Swift cuteness: “Baby Tay is cute af.”
But, not all were here for nostalgia. “This is probably the most promotion they have ever done for a song from TTPD,” noted one user and created laughter-and side-eye-from the fans.
Is this, then, a sign of more things to come, or is it just a clever nod towards a song getting finally its much-needed flowers? Either way, Swifties are talking-about-and streaming.
