While Kaka never played for United, despite there being rumours of a move to Old Trafford during his career, he did face Sir Alex’s team on five occasions.
The 2007 Ballon d’Or winner scored three times across AC Milan’s two-legged semi-final success against United in that year, on the way to winning the UEFA Champions League.
He had previously played in both matches of the clubs’ meeting in the last 16 of the competition two seasons earlier, and featured in Ferguson’s last-ever European game as a substitute for Real Madrid in 2013.
