Luka Jovic leads the line for Milan against Lorenzo Lucca’s Udinese at the Bluenergy Stadium in the Friday evening kick-off slot in Serie A as Sergio Conceicao and the Rossoneri look to claw themselves closer to the European spots.
Milan are still ninth in the Serie A standings after a 2-2 draw with Fiorentina last time out in Serie A, which leaves them on 48 points with seven games to go – seven points shy of the Champions League spots. Tonight’s hosts, Udinese, sit eight points behind the Rossoneri in 11th.

Udinese will have to do without key attackers in Alexis Sanchez, Florian Thauvin, Keinan Davis and wideman Jordan Zemura, who are all unavailable through injury.
Kyle Walker requires surgery on a fractured elbow, Santiago Gimenez is also injured after the 2-2 draw with Fiorentina last weekend, and Emerson Royal and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are also still unavailable for Milan.
That means that Jovic leads the line for Milan rather than Tammy Abraham, supported by Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic. Pre-match reports suggest that Conceicao will switch systems from a 4-2-3-1 to a 3-4-3 this evening, which looks to be the case with three centre-backs starting: Fikayo Tomori, Matteo Gabbia and Strahinja Pavlovic.
Kick-off is due at 19.45 BST.
