Scott was one of the standout players in UEFA’s qualifiers and, as Scotland look to spring a surprise on Julian Nagelsmann and his team, he has fond memories of another shock.
United’s no.39 scored a brace to beat Spain at Hampden Park, with the second proving particularly memorable for Scott, who is line to win his 50th cap in Bavaria.

“The second goal [against Spain] was probably one of my favourite goals I’ve ever scored, in terms of a historic night for Scotland,” he added.
“Kieran Tierney did unbelievable down the wing and, obviously, it’s moments like that we have to take advantage of in big games like against Germany, Switzerland and Hungary as well.”
