The ongoing discourse surrounding the case itself seems to touch everything around it — including speculation regarding Blake’s upcoming film with Anna Kendrick, Another Simple Favor.
The legal battle is seemingly ensnaring It Ends With Us cast members who have very little to do with the legal battle itself. Just a few weeks ago, there was speculation about Justin and Brandon Sklenar wearing the same pin at different events.
Another person who starred in It Ends With Us is Jenny Slate. She played Blake’s friend Allysa, who was also the sister of Justin’s character Ryle Kincaid.
Jenny is currently doing a press tour for her upcoming FX series Dying for Sex, and during a sit-down with The Hollywood Reporter the interviewer asked her to compare being on set for the show with her experience making It Ends With Us.
“I don’t have anything to say about that,” she said. “Everything is its own thing. I poured my heart into this work, and every minute of [Dying for Sex] was important to me, and I just want to talk about that.”
The interviewer then asked how Jenny plans to handle similar questions posed to her in the future. “Anyone can ask anything, but my only responsibility is to speak about the work I’m there to promote,” she said. “It was so important to me to get this job, so why would I spend time talking about anything but that?”
