The Gordon Murray Group (GMG) has embarked on a strategic digital transformation by upgrading to IFS Cloud AI-powered platform, a move set to bolster the production of its T.33 supercar range.
This transition is part of GMG’s initiative to scale its operations and support its expansion with the introduction of new models over the next five years.
GMG is capitalising on the capabilities of IFS Cloud to enhance operational efficiency and streamline processes.
The IFS Cloud platform’s architecture, coupled with embedded industrial AI, provides GMG with real-time data access and informed decision-making.
The support offered by IFS through its cloud platform will span various facets of GMG’s business, including supply chain, project management, finance, and manufacturing operations.
IFS said, the partnership will enable GMG’s teams to concentrate on the production and delivery of “hand-crafted” performance vehicles to a global clientele.
Gordon Murray Group CEO Phil Lee said: “Upgrading to IFS Cloud marks a pivotal step in Gordon Murray Group’s innovation journey. We need a platform that evolves with us – delivering scalability, intelligence, and a unified data foundation.
“With IFS Cloud, we gain the agility and power to keep our operations as advanced as the vehicles we engineer.”
The platform encompasses a broad spectrum of enterprise needs, including enterprise asset management (EAM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), supply chain management (SCM), and field service management (FSM).
IFS UK, Ireland and Benelux managing director UK, Ireland and Benelux Stephanie Poore stated: “Gordon Murray Group is a benchmark for cutting-edge automotive design.
“We’re proud to deepen our partnership and support GMG’s evolution with IFS Cloud. With Industrial AI embedded into their operations, they can drive new levels of precision and performance to delight customers with the innovation and craftsmanship their brand is known for, every step of the way.”
In February 2025, GMG announced the launch of a new consortium project, focusing on the creation of “ultra-lightweight” and “environmentally friendly” vehicle structures.
“Gordon Murray Group adopts IFS Cloud to drive automotive innovation” was originally created and published by Just Auto, a GlobalData owned brand.
