On Wednesday (Sept. 18), Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs lost his appeal for bail, meaning the 54-year-old’s remand to custody stands. Combs has been trending news for the past three days after the FBI arrested him on Monday (Sept. 16). The following day, his arraignment revealed three felony charges related to sex trafficking, prostitution, and racketeering.

Diddy’s lawyer addressed the denied appeal outside of the courthouse on Wednesday. Additionally, footage has surfaced of the music mogul’s sons, Christian, Justin, and Quincy Brown, leaving the courthouse after supporting their dad’s efforts to receive home detention. They did not speak to the press on their way out, accompanied by security and others.
Diddy’s sons also pulled up in solidarity for Diddy’s arraignment on Tuesday (Sept. 17) and again did not speak to the press.
Speaking of daddies, in a recently released interview with Angela Yee, Quincy Brown opened up about where he stands with his biological father, Al B. Sure. Brown clarified that they’re more like “homies” who hang out. Furthermore, he implied that they’re not on the father-son level Sure seemingly painted when he publicly pleaded with his son to “come home” after Diddy’s homes were raided earlier this year.

Here’s What Diddy’s Lawyer Said About The Denied Bail Appeal
As previously reported, Diddy’s legal team presented a $50 million bond proposal ahead of his arraignment. Combs had been willing to wear GPS monitoring, surrender his passport and those of his mother and four daughters, Chance, D’Lila, Jessie, and Love, and restrict female visitors.
Still, the judge remanded him to custody on Tuesday (Sept. 17). Then, another judge denied the bail appeal on Wednesday. “The government has proven the defendant is a danger. Regarding the bail package, it is insufficient even on risk of flight,” the judge reportedly stated in court.
“The fight continues. We’re not giving up by a long shot. I told Mr. Combs I’m going to try to get his case to trial as quickly as possible. I’m going to try to minimize the amount of time he spends in very very difficult and, I believe, inhumane housing conditions in the special housing unit in the Metropolitan Detention Facility and I’m going to do everything I can to move this case as quickly as possible.”
His attorney added that “everything” is on the government’s timetable and how long it will take them to hand over key case content. The lawyer said Diddy is also maintaining his innocence regarding the felony charges and that they’re preparing for trial.

While Diddy lost his appeal for bail, he won a separate appeal regarding a sexual assault lawsuit in Michigan. A judge has dismissed the $100 million default judgment against Combs won by inmate Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith earlier this month. Smith previously accused Sean of sexually assaulting him at a 1997 party.
