For those of you looking to stick on a midweek flutter, we have taken a look at two of the most appealing Europa League betting markets.
17:45 Fenerbahce vs Anderlecht
Although Fenerbahce might have only just dragged themselves to a Europa League play-off ticket last month, the Turkish icons are enjoying what has been a real purple patch. Picking up some perfect momentum over the weekend as they claimed a 2-0 victory away at Alanyaspor, the Yellow Canaries have won each of their previous three appearances across all competitions by an aggregate score of 10-2. Despite signing off their Europa League group stage adventure with a dramatic 2-2 stalemate way at Midtjylland, Jose Mourinho’s men are unbeaten in all of their last 12 outings – a run that stems back to December 11th. Finding a real clinical edge in the final third, the former Manchester United boss will also be excited by his side’s extended success on home soil. Including consecutive 3-2 wins against Rizespor and Goztepe over the past fortnight, Fenerbahce have suffered just a single defeat in Istanbul since way back on September 21st.
Making a much-welcomed return to winning ways last weekend as they claimed a 2-0 victory against Antwerp, Anderlcht are desperate to use that performance as a platform to build on. However, pencilled in as a landslide underdog when they travel to Istanbul on Thursday night, David Hubert’s side have drastically failed to find any kind of stability on either side of the festive break. Signing off their group stage adventure with an action-packed 4-3 defeat at home against Hoffenheim, Thursday’s guests have also recorded consecutive victories across any competition since the middle of December. Likewise, without a win from any of their last three showdowns away from Lotto Park, Anderlecht should also be concerned by their most recent trip to Istanbul. Falling to a routine 2-0 defeat when travelled to the Yellow Canaries back in November 2018, Hubert’s camp appear to have a real job on their hands in midweek.

20:00 Porto vs Roma
While Roma might have watched their Coppa Italia adventure come to an end earlier in the month as they fell to a 3-1 loss at the hands of domestic rivals AC Milan, the Wolves have continued to impress since Claudio Ranieri’s return to the Stadio Olimpico back in November. Suffering just a pair of defeats from any of their previous 12 appearances across all competitions – a run that stems back to December 15th – the former Leicester boss has seen his squad skyrocket their way up the Serie A standings. Signing off their Europa League group stage campaign with an eye-catching 2-0 victory against German outfit Eintracht Frankfurt, Roma will be looking to collect a heavyweight European scalp here. Marking their return from Italy’s festive break with an impressive 2-0 win against bitter local rivals Lazio, Thursday’s guests should be excited by a trip to the Estadio do Dragao on Thursday night.
Although Porto might have snatched a 1-1 stalemate at home arch-rivals Sporting Lisbon last weekend, the Portuguese giants have drastically struggled to find any kind of stability. While new boss Martin Anselmi might have only arrived last month, the Argentinian tactician has a real job on his hands. Showing a string of issues since returning from the festive break, Thursday’s hosts have collected just a single win from any of their previous eight appearances across all competitions. Falling to a 3-1 loss against Gil Vicente on January 19th, the Dragons have also failed to collect a maiden victory at the Estadio do Dragao since opening 2025. However, although Porto might face a real challenge here, they will be excited by their most recent showdown against Roma. Picking up a thrilling 4-3 aggregate win when they welcomed the Wolves to Portugal for a Champions League battle in March 2019, Anselmi’s camp will know the importance of claiming a first-leg advantage.
