A. Eurovision debate (May 23)
The Eurovision debate with the main candidates for the Commission presidency will take place on May 23 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. in the plenary hemicycle in Brussels.
The event is organized by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), in collaboration with Parliament’s DG COMM and European political parties, and will bring together accredited media, political groups, institutional representatives and several high-level guests.
Accreditation and access to the Eurovision debate
All accredited EU interinstitutional media holding an annual EP media badge will have access to Parliament for the debate upon presentation of their badge, without having to apply for separate accreditation.

Election results
Throughout election night, Parliament will continuously publish the election results of all member states. The data will consist of publicly available information from Member States, made available in a harmonized format also available on the official election results website:
https://results.elections.europa.eu/
Media will be able to embed a widget containing the results directly on their own websites. The results included in the widget will be automatically updated during election night whenever a new post is available on the election results website. We also provide “raw data” ready for download. Testing will be carried out with participating media outlets in May to ensure data can be received correctly. To find out how to integrate election results online and participate in testing, please contact: [email protected].
More details on how the results will be made available can be found here.
