As Maya Angelou famously stated, “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.”
That applies to career politician Chuck Schumer in spades. (Schumer has never held a job – he went directly from law school to the New York State Assembly.)
No doubt that life path is at least partially responsible for Schumer’s latest barrage of vile contempt for the working man, combined with a healthy dose of the Americanized Marxist ideology that has held the left in thrall since 1933.
There’s a trick investigators use that is also very useful in politics: Just let people speak. Eventually, they will tell you exactly who they are and what they believe. Most people can’t help themselves.
And so it was once again, when Schumer went on The View to spew righteous amoral anger on those of us who actually contribute to society, rather than cannibalize and detract from it.
Schumer On The View
In the spirit of what I said earlier, let’s let Cryin’ Chuck speak for himself, shall we?
Speaking of his political enemies, Schumer said:
And you know what their attitude is? ‘I made my money all by myself. How dare your government take my money from me, I don’t wanna pay taxes.’ Or, ‘I built my company with my bare hands, how dare your government tell me how I should treat my customers, the land and water that I own, or my employees.’ They hate government.

A couple things to note: First, the hatred Schumer feels for the “makers” is pure and distilled venom. You can see it in his body language, hear it in his voice, and sense it in every fiber of his being.
Second, the generic rightwinger he’s mocking is clearly, obviously correct. Of course no one is capable of building an entire company “by themselves” literally. Human beings live in a society, we’re not Robinson Crusoe.
A basic Economics 101 course would have introduced Schumer to the classic explanation of how the economy works, “I, Pencil.”
A quick recap: There’s not one person on the entire planet who is capable of making a pencil. Instead, the pencil maker works with literally thousands of complete strangers – to get the rubber for the eraser, to refine the rubber, to mine, transport, and shape the metal used in the eraser holder, to acquire and then purify and shape the graphite, etc. etc.
That doesn’t mean Joe Sixpack “didn’t build his company.” Of course he did, as anyone with an IQ above room temperature instinctively understands. Who else could have? Chuck Schumer? AOC?
But here’s the truth of the matter that the right has ignored for far too long. Chuck Schumer knows all this. He’s not an idiot or a fool. In fact, he’s a genius according to his school and testing records.
The left is not mistaken or stupid. Failure to understand this is why the right has continually gotten their butts handed to them between 1933 and 2016. Instead, Schumer is a jealous, spiteful, hateful, and a socialist utopian ideologue who will do and say anything to achieve his political goals.
You can safely ignore anyone on the right who fails to understand this fundamental truth.
