It seems Bruno Mars won’t have to pawn his 24K magic.
As the “That’s What I Like” singer kicked off his The Romantic Tour in Las Vegas April 10, he had some fun addressing an old rumor that he owed millions of dollars to the city’s MGM Casino.
During the concert at Allegiant Stadium, Bruno’s Silk Sonic bandmate Anderson .Paak joined him on stage for a surprise performance and at one point, in footage of the moment shared to social media, quipped, “I hate to make this about me, but when I think about how much debt, I mean how many steps it took to get here, I get emotional.”
The “Grenade” singer reacted to Anderson’s comments with a hearty chuckle, joking, “Andy, I’m sorry you’re going through all that. See I’m debt-free, I paid the casino off a long time ago.”
The rumors of Bruno owing money to the MGM began with a 2024 report alleging his gambling habits had racked up a $50 million debt to the casino.
