Atlanta United has made official the arrival of Emmanuel Latte Lath from Middlesbrough, which reaches the USA for the record figure of 22 million dollars (around 21.4 million euros) plus any bonuses that would make the sum rise to 30 million. Atalanta also smiles, who at the time of the sale of the Ivorian attacker had reserved a percentage on the future resale of the player equal to 10%. According to the official data on the Atalanta budget, Latte Lath was sold by the Bergamo club at Middlesbrough for 5.5 million euros. Considering the four -year contract signed at the time, its net budget value dropped to 3.32 million euros in early February 2025. Given the 21.4 million invested for its purchase, the Middlesbrough should have recorded an equal capital gain to about 18 million euros. Taking 10% into the capital gain, therefore, Atalanta will collect around 1.8 million euros.
