Dwayne Johnson, aka “The Rock,” just announced the release of his latest Project Rock training collection and, for this drop, is bringing WWE superstar Drew McIntyre along for the ride. The new drop, tagged with the motivational motto ‘YOU Against YOU,’ is concerned with self-competition and blocking out distractions. Johnson, as ever, very energetically hyped the release, calling McIntyre ‘a beast of a man’ and praising his contributions to WWE inside and outside the ring.

Reactions? Quite mixed. A few have gone all-in, with one user screaming, ‘Drew is the f’n man that’s why!!!,’ while one fellow simply stated, ‘Hell yeah. I’m a Drew guy all the way.’ And then there is a whole bunch of supporters who feel that McIntyre-and thus The Rock-‘sold out.’ One user blatantly asked, ‘Did you sell your soul too!?!?!? Weighted Jake, far much?’
But for real, most replies are just people freaking out because McIntyre is finally getting his time to shine. ‘Drew finally getting some of the promotion he deserves,’ one fan wrote, while another yells retorting, ‘GIVE DREW THE TITLE FOR FUCK’S SAKE.’ The WWE universe is apparently very passionate about McIntyre’s direction.
The gear seems to have some internet hype, and skepticism, mixed in. A user praised the green shoe design, ‘fire,’ while another chimed in, ‘The new stuff is boring and plain. I mean I love it all, but the old stuff was better.’ Classic; you just can’t please everybody, especially on the internet.
And then, of course, a shaft of randomness. Uganda’s wrestling academy seemed to announce this like a sort of global wrestling revolution. Enthusiast much?

This is the Rock energy- loud and unapologetically motivating. For all that is good with gear or wrestling drama or just the glitz, one thing is for certain, The Rock knows how to spark a talk or two. Not that Drew McIntyre will complain either; he just picked up some points.
